Happy Saturday! We have a bit of a roadblock gifted to us by last night's storm and it's a very big bit... Power is down and grateful to our local SVEC crews slangin' saws getting that going asap!🙏 Venturing a guess as to how long getting the power up and driveway passable would be pure speculation but likely a minimum couple of hours is ambitious 🤔
Therefore, if trout fishing is on your agenda today, prolly best to shoot me a text beforehand to make sure you can get down to the ranch to do so @ 423-718-0801 😉

Long weekend for many folks and lookin' to be gloriously rainy!(Trout farmers tend to love cold wet weather 😉)
Ya know what outdoor sport is usually better when its rainy...?...Fishin' that's whut!
We will be open for that very sport Sat May 23 (gate opens at 9am CST and closes at 3pm CST)
Sunday May 24 (gate opens at 10 am CST and closes at 3 pm CST)
***No reservations required either day***
Deets-🙌
-We don't provide bait or tackle
(A variety of bait options recommended)
-Spin cast fishing is CATCH AND KEEP ONLY @ $8.50 LB live weight
-Fly fishing is CATCH and RELEASE at $20 PER HOUR PER PERSON(fish kept are discounted to $6 per pound)
-CASH ONLY $$$
-Picnics/beverages are welcome
-Bring a cooler and extra ice for travel home
-Most other days (including Monday Memorial Day, are available for fishing by reservation with a minimum day's notice)

Woo wee! 🤔 Doubtful anyone loves rain more than farmers...trout farmers especially...well and hungover commercial roofers ( been there 🙄😆) We've gotten several messages about taking rez or being open Mother's Day.
*We will be neither open or scheduling this Sunday Mother's Day.
* However, we have decided to open tomorrow at noon and stay open a lil later until 5 or so CST 🙌 no reservation needed. Saturday will be normal open (no rez) hours. Gate opens at 9 am CST and closes at 3 pm.
*Quick reference details
*We do not provide bait or tackle.(Best bet is to bring the tackle box)
*Spin cast fishing is CATCH and KEEP ONKY at $8.50 per lb
* Fly fishing can be catch and release at $20 per person per hour. Kept fish are discounted to $6.00 per pound.

Spring springs officially this coming Saturday which is looking to be a nice one! To that point starting this Saturday March 21 we will begin open days requiring no reservations every forthcoming Saturday unless otherwise posted on this page! 🙌
*Gate will open at 9am central time and will close at 3pm. Average fishing times are typically one to two hours so best latest arrival time is 1 pm.
Here's the details of how it works so please refer to this post when needed.
*SPIN CAST FISHING is strictly catch and keep only.
*Cost is based on live weight of caught fish at $8.50 per pound. *Average stock weight is currently ranging from 1 to 1 1/2 pounds
*Discounts start at 10 pounds caught at 10% off. At 20 or more pounds caught we give a 20% discount
*Heading/gutting/bagging/ice is included with pound price.
*Boneless butterfly fillets is a extra charge (it's a long process) of $2 per fish
*WE DO NOT PROVIDE BAIT OR TACKLE-We always recommend a variety of baits from live worms/crickets etc, salmon eggs,power bait,shiny spinning lures .

*All visitors are welcome to bring food/beverages/chairs
*We advise to also bring a cooler and extra ice for travel
*FLY FISHING ONLY CATCH and RELEASE
*We allow catch and release for fly fishing using barbless hooks and proper fish handling craft.
*Cost is $15 per hour per person
*Fish kept are discounted to $6 per pound with the same options of cleaning and same $2 charge per fish for fillet.
We will be eventually adding at least one open day during the week. Until that time Saturdays will be the only day not requiring a minimum 24 hour notice to schedule a day/time.

Wintertime is the right time for trout.
Tomorrow Feb 7th is lookin like a mighty fine fishing time so we'll be open for fishing from 10am central/local time to 3pm "slow time". No reservations needed.

*What you will need if you and yorn wanna come fishing*
-your own bait and tackle
-cooler and ice to haul yer haul home
-Cash only (farmers are simple folk)
-Catch and keep only
-$8.50 per pound -no limit -average live weight is running 1 to1 1/2 pounds

Fishing is always available by reservation with a minimum day's notice 😉
