I attended the Peace Officers Memorial Day ceremony in Newton this morning. Grateful for the chance to honor those who gave everything in the line of duty and to thank the men and women who show up for Harvey County every single day.

I spent this morning in Wichita attending the Boeing Backs America 250th event along with our federal delegation and the Boeing CEO. During this event, Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg announced their investment of $1 billion into the Wichita area over the next 3 years further cementing us as the Air Capitol of the World.

It was an honor to speak to the Kansas State Fraternal Order of Police and be presented with a plaque recognizing my support for law enforcement in Kansas. That means a great deal to me. This session I secured funding in the state budget for a PTSD pilot program specifically for law enforcement. We ask these men and women to see things most of us never will and carry it home with them every night. The least we can do is make sure they have real support.

Thank you to the Kansas State FOP for your service and for this recognition. I will not stop fighting for you.

It was truly an honor to get to spend the day with my former boss, Senator Roberts and people that I have looked up to my entire life in politics. Nobody is more deserving to get their portrait hung in the Senate Ag committee room than this guy.

I'm proud to announce I'm running for reelection to represent the Newton area and Harvey County in the Kansas House of Representatives.

Serving this community has been an honor. Fiscal responsibility, local accountability, and a government that answers to the people are not talking points for me. They are why I ran, and why I am running again.

The Democrats have recruited a candidate to flip this seat. Harvey County deserves a representative who shares its values, not one chosen by party bosses to push an agenda that has no place here.
