As Deputy Director of the Center for Community Services at DCED, Melissa has spent more than 15 years supporting Pennsylvania’s Community Action network, helping programs grow stronger, systems work smarter, and communities receive the support they need.

But what truly sets Melissa apart is how she leads.

💛 She brings people together to solve problems and move the work forward.

Her leadership has helped shift systems from compliance-driven to impact-driven, including guiding innovations like the CAP Infinity Suite, reducing administrative burden, and creating space for learning, flexibility, and real improvement.

And when it mattered most, Melissa led the distribution of $42 million in CARES funding, helping communities respond during a time of crisis.
