NVFC Step Strong Challenge Update

Our members have been putting in the work throughout the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) Step Strong Challenge, and we're proud to recognize the Top 10 steppers from Windham Center Fire Department!

This challenge is about more than counting steps, it's about promoting health, wellness, and an active lifestyle while encouraging teamwork and friendly competition.

We're also proud to share that Windham Center Fire Department is currently ranked 2nd overall nationwide among participating fire departments. This achievement reflects the dedication and commitment of all of our members who have stepped up to support firefighter wellness.

Looking to get some steps in yourself?

Join us tomorrow for our Community Walk at 9:30 AM at 579 North Windham Road. The walk is open to everyone and is a great opportunity to get outside, get moving, and connect with members of your local fire department.

Event Cancellation Notice ⚠️

We have been notified by the event organizers that tonight's event has been canceled due to severe weather issued for our.

Calling all future firefighters!

Join us tonight at Third Thursday for our Junior Firefighter Challenge and Teddy Bear Rescue! Kids can enjoy hands-on activities, learn about fire safety, and meet their local firefighters.

Who knows? Today's Teddy Bear Rescue participant could be tomorrow's firefighter.

Interested in learning more about volunteering? Stop by and talk with members from the 3 Windham Fire Departments about opportunities to serve your community.
