Congratulations to Officer Cosker on being recognized as the Windsor Police Department Officer of the Year!

Officer Cosker brings a positive attitude to work every single day and is someone both the department and community can always count on. Whether it’s being first to respond to calls, helping fellow officers without hesitation, mentoring recruits as a Field Training Officer, or conducting thorough investigations, Officer Cosker consistently sets the standard through professionalism, teamwork, and dedication.

What stands out most is the respect and compassion Officer Cosker shows to everyone encountered while serving the community. Officer Cosker’s work ethic, leadership, and willingness to help others make those around him better.

Support a great cause with the Windsor Police Department on Monday, May 20 from 4 to 7 PM. By dining at Bart’s during this special fundraiser, 15% of event sales will be donated to Special Olympics Connecticut—just show the event flyer, either digitally or in print, when you order. Please note that this fundraiser applies only to purchases made at Bart’s and is not valid at the Lobster Tales food truck. Come enjoy a meal and help make a difference in the lives of Special Olympics athletes.

Please join us for the 2025 Memorial Day Observances on Monday, May 26, as we remember and pay tribute to those who sacrificed for our freedom.

Beginning at 8:00 AM at Elm Grove Cemetery, followed by Veterans' Cemetery at 9:00 AM, marching to Town Hall for the final observance at 10:00 AM.

Our Parade Marshal is Lieutenant Nicholas Dally. Lieutenant Dally became a police officer with the Windsor Police Department in 2016. He currently serves as the Patrol Lieutenant and holds various leadership roles, including Commander of the Honor Guard Unit, Co-Commander of the North Central Municipal Emergency Services Team, and Coordinator of his department’s Peer Support Program.
