We’re proud to announce the successful completion of the American Precision Museum’s $2.8 million Floor 2 The Future fundraising campaign 🎉

This transformational project will expand our usable space by 45% and create the new Gene Haas Center for Manufacturing Inspiration, supporting hands-on learning, creativity, community events, and STEM+M education for years to come.

Thank you to the donors, partners, members, and supporters who helped make this possible. Together, we’re preserving the story of American manufacturing while inspiring tomorrow’s innovators.

📢 Big news for donors — and your tax return!

Starting in 2026, you no longer need to itemize your Federal Tax Return to deduct charitable cash donations. Even if you take the standard deduction, you can now deduct:

✅ Up to $1,000 as an individual
✅ Up to $2,000 if married filing jointly

This is a permanent change — and great news for everyone who gives.

As our fiscal year wraps up on April 30, there's no better time to make a gift to APM. Your generosity fuels our mission, and now the tax code is working in your favor too.

Give before April 30 and make your donation count — for our community and your return.

🌸Join us for some Spring Break fun!🌷

Marble Rollercoaster - April 20 10am−2pm
Build a marble raceway as you engineer sturdy piers and ramps, experiment with curves and loops, and add playful features like gates, spinners, and switchbacks.

We’ll have pre-scored paper and chipboard stands and ramps for families to construct a marble raceway. We’ll have examples of different components they can attempt to engineer into their designs (curves, loops, switches, gates, spinners, etc)

Zipline Challenge - April 21 10am−2pm
Design a gravity powered vehicle to successfully roll (not slide) along a wire zipline. Explore balance and stability as you try to make it all the way down.

We will stretch a wire across the room. Builders will figure out how to get something to balance and then roll along the wire.

We’re excited to share a new partnership with the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) 🦅🏛️

This new reciprocal membership program makes it easy to explore more of Vermont, from soaring raptors and forest trails to the machines and stories that shaped American innovation.

APM members:
From June through August, APM members can visit VINS using a voucher distributed with member cards or by mail. It’s a perfect way to spend a summer day outdoors and experience VINS at your own pace.

VINS members:
From January through April, VINS members can visit the American Precision Museum for free with up to four people, in any combination of adults, seniors, or children.

We love partnerships that open doors, spark curiosity, and invite people to discover something new. We’re proud to work alongside VINS to offer this benefit to our members and to welcome theirs into the museum.

Make plans to visit and explore something new this season.
