As a retired RN, who had cared for the elderly most of my career, I find my post below so true. Please take a moment to hear what Neal Shah says about being a caregiver, and the effects on a caregiver's health. There are agencies in your area that can help but most people do not know where to look for help. Locally, in Wood County we have the ADRC and Park Place Adult Day Services at the Lowell Senior Center.

At Park Place Adult Day Services, we provide care for your loved one while providing respite for the caregiver. Your loved one can attend one day a week or M-F. Stop in at the Lowell Senior Center to find how we how we can help.
