Last Friday, our staff united for a day of strategic planning, meaningful reflection and celebrating all we have accomplished together. Special thanks to Emily Ustach and Corrine McKamey for leading an engaging workshop.

Take a look inside..... Thundermist Health Center's Rolling Thunder comes to our Front Street Family Center every Thursday afternoon!

Here's a little peek at what our mobile medical unit, Rolling Thunder, looks like inside. Plenty of space in the "exam room" for a person to meet with one of our providers for a checkup. Don't forget: Rolling Thunder is on the road every week at these locations:

WED.: Jonnycake Center for Hope in Peace Dale – 11 a.m.-1 p.m. (22 Kersey Road)

THURS.: Connecting for Children & Families in Woonsocket – 1-3 p.m. (719 Front Street)

FRI.: Kent County Transitions Program in West Warwick – 10 a.m.-12 p.m. (18 Highland Street)

All CCF offices and sites will be closed on Monday, August 10th, 2026 in observance of Victory Day. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, August 11th.

Rhode Island is the only remaining state to officially recognize the day as a holiday, marking the end of World War II and honoring the service of those who fought for peace.

The smiles say it all. ☀️💙

Last Friday, we celebrated an incredible four weeks of learning, creativity, friendship, and fun at our Summer Camp Showcase! Families had the opportunity to see everything our campers accomplished this summer through Camp Discovery, Chillin & Skillin, and Get Connected.

Over the past month, our campers explored new interests, built confidence, discovered new talents, and formed friendships that will last well beyond the summer. The showcase was a joyful celebration of their hard work, growth, and all the fun they shared along the way.

Thank you to our incredible staff, volunteers, families, and community supporters for making these experiences possible. Together, we’re Connecting for Children and Families by creating opportunities for every child to learn, grow, and thrive.

Here’s to an unforgettable summer, and to the bright futures these young people are building every day! 💙☀️
