**UPDATE** The golf cart has been located! We ask that anyone with information to still come forward as we continue this investigation.

The York Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a stolen golf cart.

The golf cart is described as a:
• White 1969 Harley Davidson 3-Wheel golf cart
• Homemade green canopy over the top.

The theft is believed to have occurred in the night between 05/23/26 at 5pm and 05/24/26 at 12pm from Hy-Tec (117 E 3rd St. York NE 68467).

These repeated incidents negatively impact our community and consume valuable resources. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a time to reflect on the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. We are forever grateful to our fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry their legacy.

**UPDATE** The pair made it to the corner of Lincoln Ave and Marquis St. (45 minutes later), where they were loaded up into a trailer and safely transported to the fair grounds instead!

We also pause to remember and honor the officers who gave their lives in the line of duty. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
