Last Saturday evening was the launch of the Division of Sports Interministerial Games.
The Funday was held at the Calliaqua Playing Field and saw the participation of various Ministries. The Ministry of Housing took the top spot after winning most of the events.🏆 🎉 We look forward to the official games schedule to start in November.

The St Vincent and the Grenadines all-time women’s 800m record, now stands at 1:57.29. The mark was lowered by its custodian, Shafiqua Maloney, at the Diamond League event on Thursday, August 28, 2025, in Letzigrund, Zürich Switzerland.

National Women's 800m record holder Shafiqua Maloney competed in her first Wanda Diamond League Finals held in Zurich, Switzerland on August 27th, 2025. Maloney finished fourth in the 800m in a new national record and personal best time of 1:57.29s.

Vincy Jewels’ Maryann Frederick was the Most Accurate Shooter of the tournament with shooting accuracy of 92.06%, netting 429 goals from 466 attempts in nine matches, as well as the MVP of her team and the tournament.
