Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) Executive Director Mr. Nathan Sing'ambwa today paid a courtesy call on National Pension Scheme Authority - NAPSA Director General Mr. Muyangwa Muyangwa, at his office, to explore opportunities for enhanced collaboration.

The engagement focused on key areas of mutual interest, including supporting industry to strengthen human capital through social security coverage, with the aim of promoting economic growth and industrial competitiveness. Both institutions reflected on their past areas of collaboration and explored new opportunities for strengthening their partnership.

Additionally, NAPSA provided updates on their ongoing initiatives aimed at enhanced support to industry players, particularly Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

This meeting opens a new chapter in the relationship between ZABS and NAPSA, with clear opportunities identified for future collaboration. The Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) team, led by our Director Testing Laboratories, Mr. Dickens Chisengalumbwe, paid a courtesy visit on Kingsworth Group Limited in Lusaka.

During the meeting, the two teams discussed potential areas of collaboration, with a particular focus on how ZABS can support the integrated starch and glucose manufacturing facility in maintaining and enhancing the quality, safety and competitiveness of its products for both the local and export markets.

The engagement further provided an opportunity to appreciate and understand the operations of Kingsworth Limited, including its manufacturing processes, product portfolio, quality control systems and market requirements.
