On May 28, H.E. Mr. Michael Mavros, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Armenia, had the honor of attending the military parade held in Republic Square, Yerevan, together with Armenian state officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and the public, commemorating the founding of the First Republic of Armenia in 1918.

This historic occasion marked the first military parade in Armenia’s capital in a decade and showcased upgraded arsenals, newly acquired defense systems, and domestically produced equipment — reflecting Armenia’s ongoing commitment to sovereignty and national resilience.

The celebration honored the 108th anniversary of the establishment of the First Republic of Armenia, a defining milestone in the Armenian people’s centuries-long struggle for independence, self-determination, and preservation of national identity.

The spirit of courage, resilience, and pride demonstrated on this day once again highlights the enduring friendship and strong cooperation between Cyprus and Armenia.

Cyprus stands in solidarity with Armenia as it celebrates its history, sovereignty, and continued aspirations for peace, security, and prosperity.

Մայիսի 28-ին ՀՀ-ում Կիպրոսի Հանրապետության դեսպան պարոն Միքայել Մավրոսը պատիվ ունեցավ մասնակցելու Հանրապետության հրապարակում անցկացված ռազմական շքերթին՝ ՀՀ պետական պաշտոնյաների, դիվանագիտական կորպուսի ներկայացուցիչների և հանրության հետ միասին՝ տոնելու 1918 թվականին Հայաստանի Առաջին Հանրապետության հիմնադրումը։

Այս պատմական առիթը նշանավորեց վերջին տասնամյակում Հայաստանի մայրաքաղաքում անցկացված առաջին ռազմական շքերթը՝ ներկայացնելով արդիականացված զինանոց, նոր ձեռք բերված պաշտպանական համակարգեր և հայրենական արտադրության ռազմական տեխնիկա՝ արտացոլելով Հայաստանի շարունակական հանձնառությունը ինքնիշխանության ու ազգային դիմակայունության նկատմամբ։

Տոնակատարությունը նվիրված էր Հայաստանի Առաջին Հանրապետության հիմնադրման 108-րդ տարեդարձին՝ հայկական ժողովրդի դարավոր պայքարի կարևորագույն հանգրվանին՝ հանուն անկախության, ինքնորոշման ու ազգային ինքնության պահպանման։

Այս օրը դրսևորված խիզախության, տոկունության ու ազգային հպարտության ոգին ևս մեկ անգամ ընդգծեց Կիպրոսի և Հայաստանի միջև առկա ամուր բարեկամությունն ու սերտ համագործակցությունը։

Կիպրոսը համերաշխ է Հայաստանի հետ՝ նրա պատմության, ինքնիշխանության, խաղաղության, անվտանգության և բարգավաճման շարունակական ձգտումների տոնակատարության այս կարևոր պահին։

Στις 19 Μαΐου τιμούμε τη μνήμη των θυμάτων της Γενοκτονίας των Ελλήνων του Πόντου και αποτίνουμε φόρο τιμής στην αντοχή και την αξιοπρέπεια του Ποντιακού Ελληνισμού. Η Κύπρος, Αρμενία και Ελλάδα μοιράζονται τις οδυνηρές μνήμες του ξεριζωμού, της απώλειας και της αδικίας. Στεκόμαστε ενωμένοι στη μνήμη, την αλληλεγγύη και τη διατήρηση της ιστορικής μνήμης και της ανθρώπινης αξιοπρέπειας.

As part of the celebration of Europe Day in Yerevan at Opera Square, the European Embassies came together to present the traditions, culture, and gastronomy of their countries to the Armenian public.

The Cypriot pavilion attracted exceptional interest and enjoyed remarkable success for the second consecutive year, further strengthening the bonds of friendship and cultural cooperation between Cyprus and Armenia and between Armenia and the European family.

Hundreds of visitors stopped by to enjoy Commandaria, Cypriot delicacies like elioti, kolokoti, halloumoti, – turning the day into a beautiful celebration of culture, flavor, and European unity.

Երևանում՝ Օպերայի հրապարակում, Եվրոպայի օրվա տոնակատարության շրջանակում, Եվրոպական երկրների դեսպանությունները միավորվել էին՝ հայկական հանրությանը ներկայացնելու իրենց երկրների ավանդույթները, մշակույթը և խոհանոցը։

✅ What’s New?
The visa application process is now updated and digitised, enabling applicants to upload their application and supporting documents electronically from the comfort of their home or office. This enhancement is designed to make the process simpler, faster and more convenient.

To ensure a smooth and efficient experience, all applicants are required to complete an initial online document submission and verification before booking a biometric appointment.

On the occasion of the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, commemorated on April 24, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Republic of Armenia, H.E. Mr. Michael Mavros, attended the official wreath-laying ceremony at the Armenian Genocide Memorial to pay tribute to the victims of the 1915 Armenian Genocide.

Cypriots and Armenians are bound by shared historical experiences. The enduring solidarity between the peoples of Cyprus and Armenia, grounded in the pursuit of truth, dignity, and justice, remains unwavering.

Հայոց ցեղասպանության 111-րդ տարելիցի կապակցությամբ, որը նշվում է ապրիլի 24-ին, ՀՀ Կիպրոսի Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան, պարոն Միքայել Մավրոսը մասնակցել է ծաղկեպսակների զետեղման պաշտոնական արարողությանը՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության հուշահամալիրում՝ հարգանքի տուրք մատուցելով 1915 թվականի Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին։
