อุปทูตรักษาราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวียนนา เข้าร่วมการเสวนา Export Club ว่าด้วยโอกาสทางเศรษฐกิจในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ที่กรุงบราติสลาวา สาธารณรัฐสโลวัก
เมื่อวันที่ 28 พฤษภาคม 2569 นายชีวินท์ ณ ถลาง อุปทูตรักษาราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวียนนา เป็นผู้แทนเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวียนนา (นางสาวภัทรัตน์ หงษ์ทอง) เข้าร่วมงาน Export Club – Discussion Forum on Southeast Asia ณ อาคารรัฐสภาสาธารณรัฐสโลวัก กรุงบราติสลาวา ซึ่งจัดโดย ธนาคารเพื่อการส่งออกและนำเข้าของสาธารณรัฐสโลวัก (EXIMBANKA SR) โดยมีนาย Maroš Šefčovič กรรมาธิการยุโรปด้านการค้าและความมั่นคงทางเศรษฐกิจ (Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security, Interinstitutional Relations and Transparency of the European Commission) นาย Rastislav Chovanec รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศและกิจการยุโรปสาธารณรัฐสโลวัก (State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic) และนาย Rastislav Podhorec ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารและประธานคณะกรรมการธนาคารของ EXIMBANKA SR (CEO and Chairman of the Bank Board of EXIMBANKA SR) ร่วมกล่าวเปิดงาน
อุปทูตฯ ได้นำเสนอศักยภาพของประเทศไทยในฐานะหุ้นส่วนทางยุทธศาสตร์ที่เชื่อถือได้ในภูมิภาคอินโด-แปซิฟิก โดยเน้นบทบาทของไทยในฐานะประตูสู่ตลาดอาเซียนที่มีประชากรกว่า 670 ล้านคน และการเป็นศูนย์กลางคมนาคมเชื่อมโยงกับภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกและเอเชียใต้ และย้ำความพร้อมด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและโลจิสติกส์ โอกาสทางการค้าผ่านความตกลงการค้าเสรีกับคู่ค้าสำคัญหลายประเทศ บรรยากาศที่อื้อต่อการลงทุนและประกอบธุรกิจ รวมถึงศักยภาพความร่วมมือกับสโลวาเกียเมื่อการเจรจาความตกลงการค้าเสรีไทย-สหภาพยุโรป (Thailand-EU FTA) แล้วเสร็จในอนาคตอันใกล้
อุปทูตฯ ชี้โอกาสการลงทุนในอุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคตของไทย โดยเฉพาะในพื้นที่โครงการเขตพัฒนาพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (Eastern Economic Corridor : EEC) ซึ่งเป็นศูนย์กลางการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมาย อาทิ ยานยนต์ไฟฟ้า อิเล็กทรอนิกส์อัจฉริยะ เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ อากาศยาน การแพทย์สมัยใหม่ และพลังงานสะอาด รวมทั้งบทบาทของไทยในฐานะฐานการผลิตยานยนต์ไฟฟ้าที่สำคัญที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งของภูมิภาค โดยรัฐบาลไทยพร้อมอำนวยความสะดวกด้านมาตรการและสิทธิประโยชน์ต่าง ๆ สำหรับนักลงทุน
นอกจากนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฟิลิปปินส์ เอกอัครราชทูตเวียดนาม ผู้แทนหน่วยงานด้านเศรษฐกิจของอินโดนีเซีย และมาเลเซีย ได้นำเสนอจุดแข็งทางเศรษฐกิจและโอกาสการลงทุนของแต่ละประเทศ ตลอดจนศักยภาพของภูมิภาคอาเซียนที่มีการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจสูงที่สุดของโลก
โอกาสนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวียนนา ได้นำตัวอย่างผลิตภัณฑ์สินค้าของไทยพร้อมเอกสารข้อมูลด้านเศรษฐกิจการค้าซึ่งได้รับความอนุเคราะห์จากสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ ณ กรุงเวียนนา ไปเผยแพร่แก่ผู้เข้าร่วมงาน ทั้งนี้ ผู้ประกอบการสโลวักหลายรายแสดงความสนใจจะดำเนินธุรกิจและการค้ากับไทย อาทิ เครื่องดื่ม เทคโนโลยีการแพทย์ ชิ้นส่วนยานยนต์ โลจิสติกส์ สตาร์ทอัพด้านเทคโนโลยี พลังงาน การบำบัดน้ำ ชิ้นส่วนอากาศยาน อุตสาหกรรมป้องกันประเทศ เหล็ก ธุรกิจบริการ
การเข้าร่วมงานครั้งนี้ช่วยส่งเสริมความเข้าใจของภาคธุรกิจสโลวาเกียเกี่ยวกับศักยภาพของภูมิภาคอาเซียนรวมถึงประเทศไทย และเปิดโอกาสอันดีในการขยายความร่วมมือด้านการค้า การลงทุน และการเชื่อมโยงทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างไทย สโลวาเกีย และสหภาพยุโรปต่อไปในอนาคต
Chargé d’Affaires a.i. participates in Export Club Discussion Forum on Economic Opportunities in Southeast Asia in Bratislava, Slovak Republic
On 28 May 2026, Mr. Cheevindh Nathalang, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy representing H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to Slovakia with residence in Vienna, participated in the Export Club – Discussion Forum on Southeast Asia at the Historic Building of the National Council of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava. The event was organized by EXIMBANKA SR (the Export-Import Bank of the Slovak Republic). Opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Maroš Šefčovič, Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security, Interinstitutional Relations and Transparency of the European Commission; Mr. Rastislav Chovanec, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic; and Mr. Rastislav Podhorec, CEO and Chairman of the Bank Board of EXIMBANKA SR.
Chargé d’Affaires a.i. delivered remarks with presentation on Thailand’s strengths as a trusted and strategic partner in the Indo-Pacific region. He underscored Thailand’s role as a gateway to the ASEAN market of more than 670 million people and as a key connectivity hub linking East Asia with South Asia. He also emphasized Thailand’s readiness in terms of infrastructure and logistics, its extensive trade connectivity through free trade agreements with major partners, its business-friendly investment environment, and the potential for economic cooperation with Slovakia once the negotiations on the Thailand-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA) are concluded in the near future.
Mr. Nathalang further highlighted investment opportunities in Thailand’s future industries, particularly within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), the country’s flagship development zone for targeted industries such as electric vehicles (EVs), smart electronics, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, aerospace, advanced medical services, and clean energy. He also emphasized Thailand’s position as one of the leading EV manufacturing hubs in Southeast Asia. The Thai Government provides numerous measures and incentives to facilitate investments.
The Ambassadors of the Philippines and Viet Nam as well as representatives from Indonesia, and Malaysia also presented their countries’ economic strengths and investment opportunities, reaffirming Southeast Asia’s position as one of the world’s fastest-growing and most dynamic economic regions.
On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy displayed samples of the Thai products and economic information materials, with support from the Office of Commercial Affairs in Vienna. Many Slovak entrepreneurs expressed strong interest in doing business with Thai counterparts in sectors such as beverages, healthcare technology, automotive components, logistics, technology startups, energy, water treatment, aviation and defense, metallurgy, and services.
Participation in the forum helped enhance awareness among the Slovak business community of the economic potential of ASEAN, including Thailand, and provided a good opportunity to further strengthen trade, investment, and economic connectivity between Thailand, Slovakia, and the European Union.
