RFSA Family Day - The Depot - Deniliquin

Please join us for our next RFSA Family Day at The Depot - Deniliquin on Sunday 20 September 2026 from 10am to 3pm. RFS members and their families are invited to attend and enjoy free entry, catered lunch and refreshments. You might also like to stop by the RFSA Shop and Membership Services, RFS Health & Wellbeing Support, and meet the RFS Mental Health Services Team who will be available onsite.

🔥 It's time again, for Get Ready Weekend this 20th of September, 2026. 🔥
Meet your local RFS brigade at the Howlong Fire station on 20th September between 10am - 1pm to learn how to prepare your home and family for the bush fire season.

The RFSA Southern Border Branch was pleased to attend recent firefighter training held at Berrigan, bringing together members from brigades across the area.

It was encouraging to see new members from Barooga, Tocumwal, Finley and Berrigan taking part in practical learning and developing the skills needed as they progress through their firefighter training.

During the day, RFSA Southern Border Branch Chair Riley Nolen spoke about the role of the RFSA, the support available to volunteers and brigades, and the importance of staying connected and involved within the Association. Members were also presented with RFSA t-shirts.

The Branch thanks Group 1 area and all instructors involved for supporting the next generation of firefighters.
