The excitement is building at the Land of Awesomeness as students put the final touches on their group performances for our upcoming Dance Party! 💃🕺🎶

From teamwork and creativity to rhythm, movement and storytelling through dance, our students have been working incredibly hard to prepare performances that showcase music through the years. The enthusiasm, collaboration and energy during rehearsals has been wonderful to see, and we can’t wait to share it all with our families and community.

Join us on Thursday 18th June from 5.30pm for an evening full of fun, music, dancing and plenty of smiles. We are so proud of the effort students from Prep to Year 6 have put into preparing for this special event, and we know it will be a fantastic night for everyone involved.

We look forward to seeing you there for a night of entertainment, school spirit and celebration! 🎤✨

Year 5 & 6 students participated in Qld’s Largest Classroom lesson with the Queensland Virtual Academy and Minister for Education, Mr Langbroek MP. It was a great opportunity to learn about Queensland, the history of our great state and our natural resources. Did you know that Queensland has its own flag and we won the first State of Origin game in 1980?

Creativity was running wild during our annual Under 8’s Day!

Traditionally a special day for our little people, but at our school the fun and imagination spread right across the year levels, with the big kids eagerly joining in too. From colourful play dough creations to amazing box constructions, students worked together to build, design, create and explore through hands-on play.

There were smiles everywhere as imaginations came to life through teamwork, problem solving and creativity. It was wonderful to see students of all ages laughing, learning and encouraging one another while enjoying the activities together.

Days like these remind us that learning through play is important for everyone, no matter their age. What a fantastic celebration of creativity, collaboration and school spirit at the Land of Awesomeness!
