There's so much to see and do in the Towers, so we recommend staying for a night or two to enjoy a country escape where you can really unwind. Texas Longhorn Tours offer a unique western experience where you can get up close and personal to some magnificent beasts. 🐃 You can also explore the history of gold mining and do some panning at Venus Gold Battery - Charters Towers, Nth QLD , or head up to Towers Hill, home to historic WWII bunkers, and the new award winning Miner's Memorial Walk installation. Just down the road from us you can check out the incredible murals, statues and displays at Goldtower Central and partake in some retail therapy. You also must visit our heritage town centre where you can soak in the historical architecture, and visit our unique shops selling unique and local wares, and treat yourself to yummy eats at our great cafes! 🤠🛍
