Austins Ferry Primary hosted an interschool chess tournament today. Our highly competitive team finished as the highest ranked primary school - coming in second overall to Brighton High. It was a fantastic tournament with all students demonstrating courage, respect and aspiration.

Our Kinder students had a fantastic time at Hobart Gymnastics Academy last week!

There were plenty of smiles as the children climbed, jumped, balanced, swung and explored all the exciting gymnastics equipment. Everyone gave the activities a go, challenged themselves and had lots of fun along the way.

We were so proud of the way our students listened carefully, showed great enthusiasm and encouraged their friends throughout the session.

A big thank you to the team at Hobart Gymnastics Academy for making us feel so welcome and providing such a fun and engaging experience. 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️

✨ KINDER 2027 FAMILIES ✨

Pre-Kinder sessions have begun this term on Friday mornings 9:00-10:00am!

These sessions are for children turning 4 this year to prepare for the transition to kindergarten in 2027. At the end of this term we are inviting all families who have a child that will be starting kinder next year to come have a tour of Austins Ferry Primary School. There will also be a fun scavenger hunt for the children to participate in 😊
