A huge congratulations to our Library Co-Ordinator Jan Southorn for being nominated in 3 categories in the recent Glenorchy City Council 2026 Community and Volunteer Awards. The categories nominated in were Senior Citizen of the Year, Local Hero, and Voluntary Contribution to the City of Glenorchy and the local community. Jan was one of the original founding members of the library over 20 years ago. We are thankful to our wonderful Volunteers for their commitment and hard work but especially Jan who leads the team with great support from her family.
