From 23-26 July 2026, join us as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of one of Tasmania's most loved music festivals.

For the first time ever, Devonport Jazz expands to include Blues and Roots, bringing four unforgettable days of live music, great food, good company and incredible local talent to venues across the city.

CTST - Community Transport Services Tasmania is a Tasmanian not-for-profit organisation delivering a broad range of community services across the State.

In addition to door-to-door community transport, CTST provides home care, social support and home maintenance services in the Devonport area.

These home services assist older Tasmanians and people living with disabilities or health conditions to live independently at home and stay connected to their communities.

CTST supports people to access healthcare, shopping, social activities and everyday living assistance, enabling them to remain living independently in their own homes.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE- HIGGS COURT, DEVONPORT.

Please be advised that Higgs Court (off North Fenton Street) will be temporarily closed from 22 June 2026 to 4 July 2027 to allow for housing development works.

To help protect the campground during the wetter winter months, Horsehead Creek will close for the season from Monday 22 June.

All campers are asked to vacate the campground by this date.

This seasonal closure will help preserve the site and ensure visitor safety throughout the winter.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Updates will be provided when the campground is ready to reopen.

Major milestones are being reached across the Devonport Stadium site, with the southern community courts framing now complete and ground-level facilities rapidly progressing.

Next up: Level 1 slab works and the commencement of the show court structure.

Every week, the project looks less like a construction site and more like a landmark sporting destination for Devonport.

We're not just building a facility. We're building a legacy.

The Devonport Cup may be over, but we're still proud of the incredible effort that went into helping deliver one of the biggest junior sporting events in Devonport.

This year's tournament welcomed around 2,300 players, 152 teams and an estimated 7,000 visitors to town, creating a fantastic atmosphere across the region and providing a significant boost to the local community.

Behind the scenes, our Parks & Reserves Team put in a huge effort to prepare:

✅ 4 venues

✅ 20 soccer grounds

✅ 9,500 metres of line marking

From planning and preparation through to game day, it was a massive undertaking requiring precision, teamwork and plenty of hard work to ensure every ground was ready for play.

Events of this scale don't just happen — they rely on dedicated teams working behind the scenes to create the best possible experience for players, families, officials and spectators.

A fantastic result for our community and another great example of what can be achieved when everyone works together. Well done to all involved!

Devonport, get ready.

A first for the Devonport Rooke Street Mall is landing this July.

This innovative new pop-up retail space will bring fresh ideas, new businesses and a different kind of energy to the heart of the CBD.

Designed to activate the Mall and drive more foot traffic into the city centre, the space will create opportunities for Devonport and North West businesses to showcase their products, grow their customer base and be part of something new.

For locals, it means a constantly changing mix of businesses, products and experiences — giving you more reasons to visit, stay and explore. Construction is already underway and will be completed by the end of the week.

Expressions of Interest open soon, with priority given to Devonport businesses.

This is just the beginning.
