❗️CATASTROPHIC FIRE DANGER RATING and TOTAL FIRE BAN TOMORROW ❗️
A CATASTROPHIC Fire Danger Rating is forecast for the Orana District (including the Dubbo and Narromine Local Government Areas) tomorrow.
Permits in the Orana RFS district will be suspended from midnight tonight.
These are the most dangerous conditions for a fire. For your survival, avoid being in bush and grass fire risk areas within this region tomorrow.
Also a total fire ban has been declared for the Lower Central West Plains (including the Dubbo and Narromine Local Government Areas) for tomorrow, Wednesday, 26th November 2025. This is in effect from midnight tonight through to midnight tomorrow.
🚫 A total fire ban means no fires out in the open. A total fire ban helps limit the potential of fires developing.
🚫 During a Total Fire Ban, you cannot light, maintain or use a fire in the open, or to carry out any activity in the open that causes, or is likely to cause, a fire.
🚫 General purpose hot works (such as welding, grinding or gas cutting or any activity that produces a spark or flame) are not to be done in the open.
Report all unattended fires to Triple Zero (000) and stay up to date by visiting www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/fnm or checking the Hazards Near Me NSW app.
