Well done to our footballers and netballers who represented EPS at the Lightning Premiership last week - it was a great day all round!

All 4 of our teams made us proud with their great sportsmanship, effort and teamwork, highlighted by the Division 2 netball team making it through to the Grand Final. They went on to lose in extra time, but it was a fantastic achievement nonetheless!

They were very well supported by our volunteer coaches; Hollie, Khan and Brady!

Thanks to the parents for coming along and supporting our teams and as always to Mrs Beckett for her many hours of preparation to run this event, our kids and staff appreciate getting to have such fun opportunities!

A fantastic week in Library this week, celebrating National Simultaneous Storytime.
We loved the book “Luna Roo the kangaroo baller”.

A crazy galah flew into the Library to read the book and we had some brilliant illustrators across the school, showing off their kangaroo drawing skills!

Today was a HUGE day at EPS!

We started with ‘Walk to School’ day with a very large group enjoying a cold but sunny stroll to school. Thanks to Steph Ward, Colac Otway Shire and Mixxfm for their company!
Our (aging) well-being dog Molly, particularly enjoyed her transport to school 🤭

Once the school day started we had our Open Morning for families, combined with the official opening of our new Library space! 📚

After recess we celebrated ‘Do it for Dolly’ day with the Bulla ‘scoops of kindness’ van visiting, celebrating with us and providing free icecreams! We made the most of the weather with outside mindfulness time ☀️

Thanks to the generosity of our school community, we raised over $900 for the ‘Do it for Dolly’ Foundation.

A big day, and a great day!

Last term we were fortunate enough to have an amazing donation delivered from Colac Men's Shed!
4 handcrafted tables, with the wood donated by AKD Softwoods, Colac, have been placed outside our Library, allowing another quiet sitting area for our students, during both classes and break times.
We are very grateful to both the Men's Shed and AKD for their generosity and support of our school!

As part of our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program, our Year 6s harvested, cooked and ate our own potatoes at the end of last term.
They were involved from start to finish, beginning with the planting, right through to doing the dishes after eating!
Thanks to Mrs Beckett for her coordination of the program, as part of our Health and Wellbeing program.
