Congratulations to all of our Div A athletes! 🎉

Every student represented our school with pride, determination, and great sportsmanship throughout the day. Most importantly, everyone had a fantastic time competing and supporting one another.

A huge thank you to all the families and supporters who came along to cheer on our athletes. Your encouragement helped make the day even more special.

We are incredibly proud to announce that we finished 3rd Overall with some outstanding team and individual performances.

Update: New date for Wheels Day – Monday 15th June

Due to the rain forecast for Tuesday 16th June we have made the decision bring Wheels Day forward to Monday 15th June. Please bring wheels and helmets along and remember we will be having the sausage sizzle and icy poles on Monday.

Please remember to bring along any donations on the day.
We are hopeful you’ll still be able to join us and cheer on and encourage the students. Thank you for your support.

Well done to our Div B athletes who proudly represented Lauderdale Primary today at the SPSSA Carnival.

We finished 3rd overall, with some fantastic team results as well:
🥇 Grade 3 Boys – 1st
🏅 Grade 5 Girls – 4th
🥉 Grade 5 Boys – 3rd
🥉 Grade 6 Boys – 3rd

Congratulations to all students who participated and gave their best effort. A big thank you to the parents and carers who came along to support and cheer on our athletes throughout the day.

Congratulations to all of the students who participated in the Chess Tournament today!

Our students had a fantastic day, represented the school with pride, and achieved some excellent results.

♟️ Team Result: 3rd Place
🏅 Mattias was undefeated throughout the tournament and earned an additional medal for finishing in 1st place.

Shorts Day – Friday 19 June 2026

We invite all students and families to participate in our Shorts Day Fundraiser in support of Stay ChatTY.

Parents and carers are welcome to join their child/children as we walk and talk around the school oval. Together, we'll brave the cold and brave the conversation between 8.20am and 9am.

Talking about mental health can sometimes feel uncomfortable—and so can wearing shorts in the middle of winter! Shorts Day is a fun and meaningful way to raise awareness of mental health and encourage open conversations within our community.

On Friday 19 June 2026, thousands of people across Tasmania and beyond will pull on their brightest pair of shorts to support SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY's annual Shorts Day.

Donations can be made via the link in the poster.
So grab your favourite shorts, rug up where you can, and join us as we support this important cause and help promote positive mental health for all.

🌧️☔ Wet Weather Notice for Pre-Kinder Families ☔🌧️

Families attending Pre-Kinder on Thursday 4 June who arrive early after dropping off older siblings are warmly invited to wait in our school library before the session begins.

With rain and windy conditions forecast, we know waiting outside may not be very comfortable. Our library will be open as a warm, dry and welcoming space for you and your child until Pre-Kinder starts. 📚✨

We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday! 😊
