🕰️ How long have you been an educator?
11 years with Intereach — and on 20 October 2026, Di will celebrate an amazing 30 years in Family Day Care! 🙂
💬 Why did you become an educator?
It suited my family when my three children were little, and now I have my grandchildren in care.
🌿 Favourite experience with the children:
Being outside and seeing the children enjoy the outdoors — sandpit play and bike riding are my happy place.
“Because when the kids are happy, I’m happy.”
💛 What you love most about Family Day Care:
The friendships and relationships formed over the years. That’s why it’s called Family Day Care — because they truly become family.
🚲 Fun fact about you:
I love holidays and riding my bike!
📚🎶 Favourite children’s book or go‑to song:
Our favourite book at the moment is “Change Starts With Us”. We also love listening to our kids’ Spotify playlist while playing outside.
💌 Message to families:
My families are the most important people in their children’s lives, and I am here to help them navigate this rollercoaster journey of parenthood. It really does take a village ❤️
