🚒 Fire Rescue Moama recently attended a rubbish fire after a rubbish truck was forced to dump its load due to a fire inside the truck.
This is a timely reminder for everyone to take extra care with what goes into household bins. Items such as batteries, hot ashes, chemicals, and other hazardous materials can easily ignite and cause serious fires, putting waste workers, emergency services, and the community at risk.
Please ensure hazardous items are disposed of correctly and never placed in your household rubbish bin. A little extra care at home can help prevent dangerous incidents like this.
