PENGUIN HEARTS MELT: At a recent Monday morning Cowra Storytime we listened to the Not-So-Perfect Penguin by Steve Smallman!!

It is a cute story!! All of the penguins are smart and sensible. All except, Percy, who is... well... not so perfect.

Each day is a constant struggle for Percy to behave like everyone else. He’s just not serious in any way…which sometimes comes at the expense of others. He doesn’t mean any harm, he just wants to have fun. But when Percy leaves, things just aren’t the same without him and the other penguins soon realise there’s more to life than being perfect! This gentle moral story about the difference between being silly and going too far and upsetting other people features adorable penguin characters.

Storytimers enjoyed their craft exercise – creating their own cute “Penguins” to take home. Thank you to all who came along.

See you for Storytime on Mondays at 10am at Cowra Library!!!
