Financial support is now available in the Central Darling and Wentworth LGAs and the Far West Unincorporated Area with a natural disaster declaration confirmed for the Far West NSW Severe Weather Event from 7 February to 13 March 2026.

👉 Primary producers:
Concessional loans up to $130,000
Transport subsidies up to $15,000

👉 Small business:
Concessional loans up to $130,000

At 4pm today, claims will close for the following natural disaster recovery programs:

• Natural Disaster Relief Grant – Tropical Cyclone Alfred Severe Weather
• Rural Landholder Grant – NSW East Coast Severe Weather

If you were approved for either program and have not yet submitted claims for your full approved amount, you must lodge any remaining claims by 4pm (AEST) today.

The NSW Government is delivering a $2.5 million support package to help small businesses impacted by the closure of the Great Western Highway at Victoria Pass.

Grants of up to $10,000 will soon be available to eligible small businesses in Mount Victoria, Hartley, Little Hartley, and Hartley Vale.

Applications open at 10am (AEST) on Monday 22 June 2026.

👉 Primary producers:
Concessional loans up to $130,000
