Small businesses are the heart and soul of our economy, yet too many are being pushed to the brink. 🇦🇺

Local operators like Hank, owner of Intersport Kingston in Tasmania, are part of a small business sector that contributes almost a third of Australia’s GDP and employs nearly 40% of the private-sector workforce. 💼📈

But while businesses face rising operational costs, higher taxes, soaring fuel and freight costs, and a worsening cost-of-living crisis, the Albanese Labor Government keeps piling on more pressure.

Every business that closes its doors represents a lost dream, lost jobs, and another blow to our local communities.

We need a government that backs small businesses, not one that taxes, regulates, and burdens them into submission.

The message we have heard from small businesses is clear: they don’t want handouts. What they simply want is the freedom to succeed. 💪🇦🇺
