As we wrap things up for the season, please note our change of hours for the final week:

πŸŽ‰ And that’s a wrap on our final pool party for the season! πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈβ˜€οΈ

A massive thank you to the 250 legends who came along and made it such a great day. The atmosphere was unreal, and it was awesome to see so many families out enjoying the pool together.

A special shoutout to Chris Woods from *Chris Treks for a Cause* and the Tenterfield Lions Club for getting behind the day and helping promote men’s mental health πŸ’™ It honestly meant a lot to see so many dads, grandads, uncles and strong male role models showing up and being present in our community.

Big thanks as well to The Garden Cafe and Coles Tenterfield for jumping in with the $50 lucky door prizes 🎁 β€” always adds a bit of fun to the day!

And we really appreciate Tenterfield Shire Council for supporting the event and allowing free entry for everyone. It made it accessible for the whole community, which is what it’s all about πŸ™Œ

All in all, just a really great day and the perfect way to finish off a fantastic season.

Well done, Tenterfield πŸ‘

πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ Squads Update

With the season almost coming to a close and the mornings getting icy, we’ve decided to wrap up our afternoon squads - Sharks (3:30- 4:15pm) and Development Squad (4:15 - 5:30pm) - as of today for the season.

🌀️ Schedule Change

Our morning squad will shift to the afternoon (3:30 - 5:00pm) for the remainder of the season:

Next week: Monday to Thursday
Final week: Monday to Friday

This will give our swimmers heading to CHS the chance to train in daylight, enjoy slightly warmer conditions, and spend some time working on relay changeovers.

πŸ™ Thank You

I’d like to thank every child and family for their support this season and the trust you’ve placed in me as a coach. It’s been fantastic to see the progress in our swimmers - not just in performance, but in their enjoyment of the sport and commitment to training.

Teaching kids to become lifelong swimmers remains our priority, and we look forward to seeing everyone back again next season.

πŸ“© Stay in Touch

If there’s anything outstanding you’d like to follow up or confirm, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you, Tenterfield!

We’ve officially broken the attendance record, passing 18,500 visits for the season.

It’s been great to see so many people through the gates enjoying the pool.

We’re not done yet though! With the pool open until Sunday 12th April, we’re aiming to hit 20,000 in our first season.

If you haven’t been down in a while, now’s a good time. Bring a friend and help us get there.

Good luck on Saturday swimmers! Looking forward to seeing those PB's and hopefully some records fall πŸ’ͺ

What an incredible Learn to Swim season it has been at Tenterfield Aquatic Centre! πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ

Over the summer we welcomed more than 100 local children through our program, and watching their progress has been nothing short of amazing. From little ones who were nervous to even step into the water, to kids splashing, playing and learning how to be safe and confident around the pool - every lesson has been a reminder of how important these programs are for our community.

Throughout the season we saw swimmers grow from only being able to swim a few metres into confidently completing full laps and even diving into the pool. Seeing that confidence build week by week has been incredibly rewarding for our whole team.

A huge shoutout also goes to our amazing Learn to Swim teachers - Jayda, Courtney and Ava - who taught their very first Learn to Swim season this year. The care, patience and encouragement they showed every child in the program was fantastic to see, and we are so proud of the job they did. πŸ’™

Thank you to the Tenterfield community for your support this season. We are so proud of every child who joined us and can’t wait to come back even bigger and better next year!

Check out this wonderful message we received from one of our Learn to Swim families below πŸ‘‡

We’re excited to announce our last community pool party for the season! πŸŽ‰

A huge thank you to the amazing Chris Woods, the driving force behind Chris Treks for a Cause, whose dedication to raising awareness and funds for men’s mental health is truly inspiring. Chris recently completed a 3,100 km trek from Darwin to Adelaide to support charities like the Black Dog Institute, Dads4Kids, Beyond Blue, and the Tenterfield Lions Club - an astonishing feat of perseverance, kindness, and community spirit. She’s already planning her next walk, so be sure to follow her journey on Facebook!

We also thank the Tenterfield Lions Club for supporting this event, in conjunction with Chris Treks for a Cause. There will be lucky door prizes, a free sausage sizzle, and food from the kiosk, plus the inflatable will be back for more fun! πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’¦

We would love to bring the whole community together for one last hoorah this season. With over 18,500 attendances already this season, let’s break the record and go well over 20,000 before the middle of April!
