This week the Bee Keepers have started learning about the months of the year. We learnt a song to help us remember the 12 months in order.
We did a whole class survey to see which month was the most popular. December was a clear favourite.
I wonder what event occurs in December that has the Bee Keepers excited?

Last Friday the Pollinators enjoyed dressing up as their favourite character for Book Week.

On Friday afternoon we had our drama lesson which was all about role playing characters. One of the activities for this lesson was the "hot seat" which involves a student taking on the role of a character and being asked questions by the audience (i.e. the rest of the class).

Each student took on the role of their dress-up character and put themselves in the "hot seat". They were asked some challenging questions by the audience, e.g. Do you have a boyfriend? How many people have you saved? Where do you hide out?. The students did an amazing job of staying in character and answering the hard-hitting questions from the rest of the class.

Talk about perfect timing!

Our Year 6 students had a fantastic day at Tenterfield High School for their transition day yesterday.

They got a taste of high school life with some hands-on fun in art, cooking and woodwork. 🎨🧁🔨

There were some amazing creations made, along with plenty of delicious treats!
What a great day of learning, creating, and getting excited for the next chapter.
