🏆 Celebrating Outstanding Success at the National Graduate Wool Classer Competition 🏆

Congratulations to all competitors in yesterday's Australian Wool Exchange/TAFE NSW National Graduate Wool Classer Competition, held at the Sydney Royal Easter Show — and an especially proud moment for TAFE NSW, with first, second and third place all awarded to TAFE NSW graduates.

From left to right:
🥇 Gold Stencil (1st Place) & DAS Campbell Award: Matt Cox
🥈 Silver Stencil (2nd Place): Millie Brown
🥉 Bronze Stencil (3rd Place): Amelia McCrabb
🏅 Stuart Murphy Legacy Award: Tom Lockyer

An outstanding achievement by our graduates and trainers:
• First and third place were trained by Kayla Garner at TAFE NSW Deniliquin campus (Primary Industries Centre)
• Second place was trained by Kim Jenkins at TAFE NSW Bathurst campus

This year also marked the introduction of a new award — the Stuart Murphy Commitment to Excellence Award, presented to a TAFE NSW student trained by Pauline Smith at the Armidale campus.

The award honours Stuart Murphy, a highly respected TAFE NSW trainer who has dedicated over 40 years to wool classing training and the Graduate Wool Classer Competition, leaving a lasting legacy in the industry.

Congratulations to all competitors, trainers, and supporters — a tremendous showcase of skill, dedication, and the strength of wool classing education at TAFE NSW. 🐑💙
