We had the BEST time at our YPS Showcase yesterday! Families joined students in experiencing what our Friday activity clubs are like. They enjoyed skipping, makey makey coding, board games, an epic ninja warrior course, book club, papercraft, water colour painting, yoga, photography and lawn bowls!

This was just a sampler of what kids get to choose from across the year, and it was wonderful to see families enjoying the activities together. Thank you everyone who came along for the fun!

Our rebound wall looks AMAZING! Artist Lautaro Musse put the finishing touches on it this weekend, and students were eager to get out there and play!

Thanks Lauti for doing such a brilliant job improving this play space.

Our super star students spent another afternoon showing pride in their school by completing some projects in the school yard.

Part of the fun was harvesting the student veggie patch. Anyone who was interested took home a collection of school grown silverbeet!

Practice makes perfect 💪🏃‍♂️

Our Grade 5 & 6 students have been putting in the hard work during high jump practice as they prepare for the upcoming District Athletics competition.

Every missed jump is a chance to learn, improve and try again!

Our Junior School Council has organised Wheels Wednesday activities this term! Students love having the opportunity to enjoy bikes, scooters, roller skates and skateboards that they bring from home for this special lunchtime activity. It is another great way to play, and of course everyone wears helmets and is careful of one another. Thanks JSC!

☀️ Happy Education Support Staff Day ☀️

Yesterday we celebrated our amazing ES staff with a special morning tea ☕🧁

Our students also created this beautiful hallway display filled with all the reasons our ES staff help them “shine bright” ☀️💛 Their thoughtful words are a wonderful reminder of the positive impact our ES team has each and every day.

Thank you for the care, dedication and patience you show every day. The support you provide to our students, families and wider school community does not go unnoticed. Your work helps create safe, inclusive and encouraging environments where students can grow in confidence and thrive.

You are valued not only for what you do, but for the compassion, professionalism and positivity you bring to our school each day.

We appreciate you! 👏

💙 Do It For Dolly Day 💙

This week our school community came together to support Do It For Dolly Day and help spread the important message of kindness and standing up against bullying.

Students enjoyed biscuit decorating on Monday 🍪, a blue pancake breakfast at Breakfast Club 🥞 and dressing in blue on Friday 🔵

Together, we raised an amazing $313 for the Dolly’s Dream Foundation. Thank you to everyone who supported our events and helped make the week so special 💙
