Here at Exclusive Tents we pride ourselves on crafting the worlds most beautiful and durable tents.

One of our passions is to create structures that are eco and environmentally sensitive. Our motivation behind doing so comes from the Owner and CEO of Exclusive Tents, Paul Zway. He was a game ranger in Kruger National Park for 17 years and specialized in nature conservation and the protection of the African Wilderness. He of all people understands the importance of protecting the environment, but

also believes that one should be able to enjoy and interact with eco sensitive areas in a responsible way without any long lasting impressions to the area. Our innovative tents are designed to make this philosophy a reality. Our unique designs help create a solutions for people who want to experience their favorite locations in the most unique way without jeopardize it. We want to participate and help not only you, but future generations to be able to experience and fully appreciate the tranquility and love for life that living amongst nature can bring you. Our frames are really one of the things that sets our tents apart. A tent is only as good as the structure holding it up. At Exclusive Tents, our standard roof frames are built from 50 mm structural steel tubing. That gives our tents the strength and rigidity they need to handle serious weather and, just as importantly, stay looking good for years.

We can also build in stainless steel when the environment calls for it.

There are plenty of beautiful tent designs out there. But when you’re building a permanent luxury camp, lodge, or hospitality property, the frame isn’t something you want to compromise on.

It’s what everything else depends on.

That’s one of the reasons we’ve always put so much emphasis on getting the structure right.

What framing options does your luxury tent company offer?

Your frame is the backbone of your entire tent, so it’s definitely worth understanding your options. Our luxury tent company starts with a 50 mm (1.96”) steel roof frame, which is thicker and stronger than the 38 mm size you’ll see in most tents on the market. That little difference makes a big impact when it comes to long-term stability, especially in challenging weather conditions.
This frame comes coated in epoxy paint, which helps protect the steel from rust and wear over time. But if your tent is going somewhere close to the ocean, or in a humid climate with lots of moisture in the air, we suggest upgrading to 304 or 316 stainless steel. Those two stainless options are built to handle salty air and wet conditions without corroding, which is a must-have if you want your structure to last more than just a few seasons.
The right frame makes a big difference when it comes to safety, durability, and maintenance, especially when you’re investing in a luxury tent.

How do Exclusive Tents stay comfortable in hot or cold weather?

Glamping tents are made to feel cozy no matter the season. In hot weather, many tents use breathable canvas that lets air flow while blocking harsh sunlight. Some designs have vents or screened windows you can open to let breezes come through. You can also add fans or small air conditioners to keep the inside cool.

When it’s cold, glamping tents can be insulated with special liners or thicker walls to hold in warmth. Some have wood stoves or electric heaters that make them feel just like a snug cabin. If you plan to use your tent all year, think about getting extra weatherproofing or heating options. Always check what the tent is rated for before you buy, so you know it can handle your climate. Adding rugs, heavy blankets, and warm lighting can also make the space feel comfortable and inviting.

What is the ordering process for the tents?
Initial invoice will be provided to you, which will include the freight method and estimate.
Design Phase: Make any custom changes to the first drawing provided to you, indicate door and window placements. You will be sent a revised drawing reflecting the changes for you to sign off on with your approval. The drawing will then be converted to a CAD file.
Shipping instructions for must be filled out. Please note that you may change/update these instructions at any time prior to the dispatch of tents from the factory.
Sales contract to be signed.
Manufacturing begins after the signed drawing, sales contract, shipping instructions and down payment have been received.
One to two weeks before the manufacturing is complete, we will provide you with a current freight quote. You will be issued a balance of payment invoice.
After balance of payment has been received we will provide you with an estimated departure date for the shipment.
Payment Terms: 75% down payment upon placement of order. The remaining 25% plus shipping, is to be paid prior to dispatch of the order. We only accept direct wire transfers and all sales are final. We do not accept credit cards, LC’s or bank certified checks.
FYI: Freight estimates are generally valid for 30 days and the manufacturing lead time is approximately 8-10 weeks, which is the reason for the freight only being an estimate. If you prefer to secure the freight estimate into an actual quote and booking, you are more than welcome to pay the freight at the same time as the down payment.
