Workplace Wellness in Action Corozal Community Hospital/Corozal Polyclinic II

The Staff Workplace Wellness Midpoint Health Screening at Corozal Community Hospital brought together staff from across departments to prioritize their health and well-being.

Throughout the screening period, team members took the opportunity to monitor their numbers, learn more about their health status, and reinforce the importance of prevention and early detection. These screenings are an important part of creating a healthier, more resilient workforce.

Cooking up healthier habits at Central Health Region!

The staff recently participated in a Low Sodium Meal Preparation session as part of our ongoing Workplace Wellness initiative. The hands-on activity encouraged participants to prepare flavorful, nutritious meals while learning practical ways to reduce sodium intake and support heart health.

By making healthier choices together, we are building a stronger, healthier workplace.

Celebrating men and their wellness.

The men of the Ministry of Health and Wellness in Belmopan and Corozal Community Hospital/Corozal Polyclinic II participated in wellness and education sessions aimed at promoting the importance of mental health, regular health screening and timely use of services.

These sessions created a safe space for learning, reflection, and empowerment around men’s health and overall wellbeing.

We extend sincere thanks to our lead facilitators for their guidance and to all the men who took the time to attend and engage.

Together, we continue to strengthen a culture of prevention, awareness, and self-care as part of our ongoing workplace wellness efforts.
