Social Security is social insurance that replaces part of your income when you become ill, pregnant, disabled, retired or deceased, leaving survivors. Benefits include: Sickness, Maternity, Invalidity, Funeral Grant, Survivors, Employment Injury, Disablement, Retirement and Death Benefits for employed and self-employed persons. Voluntary Insurance coverage for Retirement and Survivors Benefits is
