The Financial Services Commission (FSC), the Central Bank of Belize and the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), have signed governance agreements establishing the framework for the shared use of the Sanctions Registry System (SRS).

๐Ÿ’ป The SRS is a secure supervisory platform that strengthens sanctions-related information management, enhances analytical capabilities, and supports a more efficient, consistent, and risk-based approach to supervision.

๐Ÿค This initiative reflects the continued commitment of the three institutions to strengthening inter-agency cooperation, leveraging technology, enhancing information sharing, and reinforcing Belize's framework for combating money laundering, terrorist financing, and other forms of financial crime.
