Mayor Vellos Pays for Street Banners BEFORE putting them up!

For the avoidance of doubt, the Corozal Town Council confirms that Mayor Rigo Vellos has paid the due fees for the installation of street banners BEFORE the banners were placed in their respective locations.

A receipt issued by the Council on August 3rd shows that the Mayor paid for 4 banners at @25.00 weekly. In the spirit of equality and fairness, Mayor Vellos cleared his dues to the Corozal Town Council.

CTC's Aug 3-7 Sanitation Schedule:

The Corozal Town Council advises that RESIDENTIAL sanitation services continue their regular collection schedule as follows.

Monday August 3: Downtown North, Santa Rita area, Ramirez Layout, Almond drive/Ferry Road, South End, G-Street, Diego Street.

Tuesday, August 4: Downtown South, Lower Halls Layout, College Rd, Rainbow Town, Finca Solana

Wednesday, August 5: Joseito Layout, Dome Area, Venezuelan Site, Skeleton Town, White Cocal, Rodney Moguel

Thursday, August 6: Venezuelan Site, Hermelinda Layout, Port Saul Area, Chula Vista, Altamira Area

Friday, August 7: Collection of small piles.

KINDLY BAG YOUR HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR SANITATION WORKERS.

*Note* During our weekly collection, sanitation services are provided to ALL SCHOOLS at no cost to the schools. Waste removal is also carried out at our parks, and public spaces.

DO NOT LITTER, PLACE YOUR GARBAGE IN A PROPER DISPOSAL BIN

Yesterday, Belizeans took advantage of the public and bank holiday by staying home to relax, or taking a family trip to their favorite spots...but Mayor Rigo, Councillors and CTC workers remained dedicated to the mission of cleaning up the town!
