Our Easter activity at the library was a wonderful success! The space was filled with laughter, creativity, and the joy of learning as children participated in story reading, games, and fun Easter-themed activities. Thank you to all the children, parents, and volunteers who made the day so special!

We had a fantastic time celebrating the birthday of Dr. Seuss with the wonderful Standard 3 students from Punta Gorda Methodist School!

This past February, our library proudly hosted a special Black History Month Display celebrating the rich history, culture, and achievements of Black individuals. The display featured a selection of inspiring books, along with highlights of influential Black leaders and musicians, including voices from our very own community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to explore, learn, and celebrate with us. We look forward to continuing to share and honor these important stories!

To celebrate Valentines Day, the Punta Gorda Public Library was filled with excitement and creativity as we hosted a wonderful Reading & Arts Session for our young readers! The students took turns sharing stories, building confidence as they read aloud to each other. They also challenged their minds with fun word puzzles.
To top it all off, the session ended on a sweet note with cupcake decorating!
