Calgary Parking We’re so much more than parking. We engage in partnerships on unique innovative parking facility projects, such as High Park and Platform Parkade.

We operate parking facilities, provide parking enforcement services, manage the Residential Parking Permit program and Impound Lot while providing expert advice to businesses, community groups, and City Hall Calgary Parking implements the City of Calgary’s parking policies by managing on-street parking, including ParkPlus Zones and the Residential Parking Permit program. We operate many off-street

parking lots and parkades, and provide our customers with free services such as Air/Vacuum stations, EV charging stations, and ParkAid (locksmith, battery boost, and tire inflation). Our Parking Safety & Compliance team manages parking enforcement programs and impound lot, and provides parking education to the communities. Calgary Parking has a team of experiences in-house developers who create innovative parking technology solutions and applications such as the ParkPlus system, MyParking App, Pay Machines, Electronic Permit System, automated Ticketing, and more. This state of the art SaaS technology is also used by is other Municipalities and organizations. When you choose to park in Calgary Parking lots and parkades, you’re truly supporting local. Our revenue goes back into The City and is used to enhance the communities in which we all live.

Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating Eid al‑Adha and gathering with family, friends and neighbours.

This morning, many Calgarians will attend Eid al-Adha prayers at mosques across the city. Streets near these locations may be busier, with limited parking available.

If you are driving, please give yourself extra time, be patient with others and follow these tips to help keep everyone moving safely:

✅ Follow all parking signs
🚫 Do not park in business lots or on private property
🌱 Do not park on boulevards
🚗 Do not double park or block driveways
🚒 Park 5 metres (car length) away from fire hydrants

Our Parking Safety & Compliance officers will be out supporting safe access around places of worship and nearby residential streets so everyone can focus on their celebrations and get home safely.

🏃 Ready. Set. Go! The Calgary Marathon starts tomorrow, May 23 & 24.

Our team will be out overnight clearing the route and making sure the roads are safe and open for the racers!

Here's what you need to know before tomorrow morning.

Parking bans are in effect from 3 a.m. both days across multiple neighbourhoods along the marathon route. If your vehicle is on a street with a parking ban past 3 a.m., it will be towed.

✅ Check the full ban list at calgaryparking.com/marathon
✅ Move your car tonight if you're near the route
✅ Plan extra time if you're driving anywhere near the course this weekend
✅ Follow all parking and traffic signs

Imagine a neighbour ready to head out—for work, an appointment or school pick up—only to find their driveway blocked and the street already busy with families and kids; a small choice can create real stress and safety concerns, so please leave driveways clear.

Blocking a driveway near a school isn't just unsafe and rude, it's parking like a bully.

During school pick-up and drop-off times, our School Patrol teams travel to schools across the city and talk with drivers, explain the rules and enforce them when needed.

🏃 The Servus Calgary Marathon is this weekend and we want to make sure you're ready.

Whether you're racing, cheering or just going about your weekend, parking restrictions and road closures will affect neighbourhoods across the city on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24, starting at 3 a.m. If your car is parked along the route and it hasn't been moved in time, it will be towed.

Here's how to park like a champion this marathon weekend:

🔗 Visit calgaryparking.com/marathon to: Check which streets have parking bans and review road closures before heading out
🚗 Move your car by 3 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday morning if you street has a parking ban
🪧 Follow all parking and traffic signage
