We operate parking facilities, provide parking enforcement services, manage the Residential Parking Permit program and Impound Lot while providing expert advice to businesses, community groups, and City Hall Calgary Parking implements the City of Calgary’s parking policies by managing on-street parking, including ParkPlus Zones and the Residential Parking Permit program. We operate many off-street

parking lots and parkades, and provide our customers with free services such as Air/Vacuum stations, EV charging stations, and ParkAid (locksmith, battery boost, and tire inflation). Our Parking Safety & Compliance team manages parking enforcement programs and impound lot, and provides parking education to the communities. Calgary Parking has a team of experiences in-house developers who create innovative parking technology solutions and applications such as the ParkPlus system, MyParking App, Pay Machines, Electronic Permit System, automated Ticketing, and more. This state of the art SaaS technology is also used by is other Municipalities and organizations. When you choose to park in Calgary Parking lots and parkades, you’re truly supporting local. Our revenue goes back into The City and is used to enhance the communities in which we all live.

NEVER leave children or animals in hot vehicles. Temperatures rise rapidly in vehicles and can be fatal. If you see a child or animal left in a vehicle unattended or in distress, call 911 immediately.

🚨 Scam Alert: Fake Parking Tickets and QR Code Stickers

Please be aware of scammers posing as Calgary Parking and demanding payment for tickets that don’t exist. They have been targeting Calgarians through texts, emails and fake QR code stickers placed on our pay machines.

A few things to know:

📵 STOP: We don’t text you out of the blue. Call or Text to Park is something you start, not something we send you first. If you get an unexpected text demanding payment, it’s not from us.

Check QR codes before you scan: Official QR codes only appear on our signs, apps, webpages or the pay machine screen itself. If a code looks like a sticker, is damaged or altered, or covers another sign, don’t scan it.

✅ VERIFY: Before you pay check any ticket at parkingtickets.calgaryparking.com or call us at 403-537-7000.

📢 REPORT: See a suspicious sticker, ticket or message? Report it to us at 403-537-7000 or [email protected]. If you shared payment info, contact your bank and Calgary Police Service’s non-emergency line at 403-266-1234.

🤠 Final weekend of Stampede! Before you had out for the big finale. make sure you plan a safe ride home.

If you're heading downtown Friday or Saturday night, don't let "how do I get home?" question ruin a good time or lead to a poor, unsafe choice.

Use our Extend Your Stay program:

✅ Pay for your parking session Friday or Saturday evening (valid until 6 a.m.)
✅ Leave your vehicle parked overnight
✅ Pick it up anytime before 10 a.m. the next morning

Grab a cab, call a friend or book a rideshare and leave your car until morning. No rush, no risk of a ticket and an opportunity to find a safe ride home instead.

Heading to Stampede this week? Here's what to know about parking.

During major events, vehicles can be towed from no-parking zones, restricted areas and event clearance routes even if signage wasn't immediately visible.

Before you park, take a moment to confirm your spot is clear for the full duration of your visit. Event zones can shift quickly and enforcement is active throughout the Stampede period.

If your vehicle does get towed, start with Vehicle Finder at calgaryparking.com/impoundlot before heading to the lot. I’ll show you the next steps and what you’ll need to bring with you to retreive your vehicle.

Here are a few tips to help plan your trip before you go:

🌐 Stay informed on how to navigate parking rules & closures at calgaryparking.com/stampede

🚗 Never drink and drive. Use our “Extend Your Stay” program instead: Park at our lots Friday or Saturday evening and keep your car safely overnight and you’ll get a few extra hours in the morning to pick it by 10 a.m. for no extra fee

🪧 Follow all parking signs to avoid fines and short tows. If your vehicle gets towed, locate it with our Vehicle Finder at calgaryparking.com/impoundlot

During Stampede our streets get a lot busier with vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Travel safely and follow all traffic and parking signs.
