Between Friends offers children, youth and adults a variety of programs that remove the barriers of isolation and truly function as the building blocks of friendship. With summer wrapped up, we’ve been looking back at all the fun, adventures, and memories we made at Camp Bonaventure 2026! 🌞

From big adventures and new friendships to swimming, crafts, games, silly moments, and plenty of laughs! It was one for the books!

A huge thank you to our incredible campers, families, staff, and volunteers for making this summer so special. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💚

Have a Sideline Experience with Between Friends!

Watch the Calgary Stampeders face off against the Ottawa Redblacks on September 19, with kick off at 5 PM.

Your ticket will also entitle you to a Sideline Experience, where you get to hang out and watch warmups on the field!

$35 per ticket.

We’re wrapping up August with a huge thank you to all of the corporate volunteer teams who joined us this month!

Thank you to Keyera, SFC Energy, Canadian Natural Resources Limited, Cresco Wealth Management, Honda Canada, Enbridge, United Way of Calgary and Area, Cedarglen Homes, RJC Engineers and Nutrien for spending time with us this summer. Whether you were helping out at camp, working in the garden, or hosting a bbq lunch, you helped make our programs better and our summer more memorable for everyone involved.

The work you put in will continue to make a difference long after summer is over. Thank you for being part of the Between Friends community!

A huge THANK YOU to Calgary's Emergency Management & Community Safety personnel for spending time with our campers over the last few weeks! 🚒🚑❤️

These visits were such a meaningful opportunity for our campers and staff to learn more about the incredible work EMCS does in our community. Just as importantly, it gave emergency crews the chance to learn more about the unique experiences, needs, and strengths of children and youth with disabilities.

Together, we’re helping build understanding, connections, and a more inclusive community for everyone. ❤️

Thank you for taking the time to visit, connect, answer questions, and create such memorable experiences for our campers! We are so grateful for your partnership and hope to see you again soon!
