Organizing isn’t just about making a space look better.

🏡It can mean decluttering, sorting, measuring, planning, packing, moving items, coordinating next steps, and doing the physical work needed to keep everything moving forward.

👉Sometimes we work one-on-one. Sometimes, depending on the scope of the project, two or three organizers may be onsite so different parts of the job can happen at the same time.

That team approach can make the process more efficient, reduce disruption, and help projects move along more quickly without making the client feel rushed.

👉Labels, markers, cellphone, tape, scissors, clipboards, measuring tools…

When we arrive for an organizing or downsizing day, we come ready to work.
But our organizing belts aren’t the only thing we bring.

😀We bring smiles, compassion, enthusiasm, encouragement, and all the muscle and project management needed to keep things moving.

Because organizing and downsizing can be emotional, tiring, and sometimes overwhelming. Our job is to make the process feel lighter, more manageable, and a whole lot less stressful.

These clients were such a pleasure to help! Just total 'gems'!!

"After the sudden death of my father, I found myself flying across the country with a limited amount of time to face the daunting task of emptying and eventually selling my childhood home. A lifetime of memories and possessions, all left for me to deal with, and no real instructions in the will. After all the heartbreak and trip upon trip to shelters, the food bank, thrift shops, and even the dump, we'd even resorted to calling junk removal just to help with the sheer amount of items in the home.

Then, one blessed day, someone told us about Hello Darlene. I booked using the website and indicated that it was urgent because I was on a time crunch, and Darlene found time for us in her schedule.

What a godsend!

She approached it all in the kindest, most professional, and efficient manner, and before I knew it, we had a plan. We sorted, tidied, purged, and organized, and she and her team came in and catalogued everything left in the house for an online auction. That, too, was a godsend, because after one garage sale, I couldn't handle the swooping and clawing of people looking to buy my parents' legacy for pennies.
Eventually I had to fly home, and Darlene and her team took care of everything else in my absence. After the online auction, the final items were donated and I was able to arrange for cleaners.

Now the sale of my family home is about to close, and I have peace of mind, finally able to put a full stop at the end of this chapter.

I truly don't know what I would have done without the expertise and compassionate service of Hello Darlene.

If you find yourself in a similar situation, you could not be in better hands."

What difference can a couple of hours really make?

Quite a bit.

🏡A visit might mean lunch is prepared, laundry is started, a few household tasks are handled, there’s time for a walk or a cup of tea and someone has had meaningful company that day.

For families, it can also mean reassurance.

👉Our wellness team is small, experienced, and very hands-on. We focus on building relationships, understanding routines, and providing the kind of practical support that fits the individual — not a one-size-fits-all checklist.

My career has always been about people; listening, guiding, building relationships, solving problems, and helping others navigate important decisions.

Before starting Hello Darlene, I spent 34 years in the financial services industry, developing extensive experience in professional leadership, coaching, project management, problem-solving, and client relations.

Today, I bring that foundation, along with specialized training and professional designations, to supporting older adults and families through organizing, downsizing, Eldercare Planning, and senior transitions.
