Our Parent Council, also known as the School Advisory Committee, is a group of parents, teachers, the principal, and community members.

We come up with and execute fundraisers that have contributed to purchasing things like the new JLM kitchen the kids have been enjoying, the gardens around the school, the tech tubs that store classroom learning devices, and the snacks we all enjoy at parent engagement events like the JLM movie night and school open houses.

Come and be a part of the school community! See you on Tuesday at 6:00 PM in the library. Enter through the back doors by the kitchen / murals.

Send a toonie for Terry tomorrow for our Terry Fox walk / run / roll. All proceeds go towards cancer research in support of Terry's dream to find a cure. Takes place during the final block of the day (beginning around 1:50 PM).

Pop in and out of the classrooms, take a look at our BEAUTIFUL mural and the brand new kitchen space, and enjoy some pizza and cake compliments of the school staff and your parent council!
