Community Living Haldimand is a not-for-profit, charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Established in 1957 by parents advocating for opportunities for their children, Community Living Halidmand has a proud history of providing community based supports and ensuring meaningful, inclusive possibilities for adults with developmental disabilities. Community Living Haldimand employs approximately 120 staff that in collaboration with families and the community support over 170 people with intellectual disabilities throughout Haldimand County.

The Warriors Advocate Group of Haldimand recently met with members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) for an informative presentation on bullying, including both in-person and cyberbullying. The presentation focused on how to recognize the signs of bullying, strategies for coping with and responding to bullying, and identifying appropriate individuals and resources to contact for support. The group also discussed the impact bullying can have on others and why bullying is
unacceptable.

Welcoming October with full hearts and fresh harvests!
We are so grateful for the second year of our EYH Garden Program! Over 10 weeks, a group of six participants and two support staff came together every Wednesday to explore all things gardening. From planting seeds and nurturing crops to learning about worm composting, tomato pruning, and planning next year's garden, everyone involved gained valuable skills and hands-on experience throughout the season.
To keep the garden thriving, individuals from various locations generously took turns watering and caring for it each week. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time and effort to help make this year's harvest such a success!
Best of all, the fresh produce grown throughout the season was shared and enjoyed by everyone involved, making the rewards of their hard work even more meaningful.
We look forward to growing together again in 2027!
