Crews reviewed portable pump operations along with fire stream fundamentals, including stream patterns, nozzle control, and effective water application.

Ongoing training ensures firefighters stay sharp, confident, and ready to respond when needed most.

This past week, Fort Frances Fire Rescue members completed the practical component of SP103 – Municipal Fire Department Wildland Fire Fighting Training, part of our regular training cycle to ensure our wildfire response knowledge and hands-on skills remain current.

A big thank you to Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Services (AFFES) with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources for once again delivering top-tier instruction and expertise to our crews.
