Big thank you to City of Kenora Fire and Emergency Services for hosting this week’s NFPA 1006 Surface Water Rescue Technician course, and to the Ontario Fire College instructors who came from all across the province to deliver the program!

Members of Fort Frances Fire Rescue Service were back training last night focusing on portable pumps and fire streams. 🚒💦

Crews reviewed portable pump operations along with fire stream fundamentals, including stream patterns, nozzle control, and effective water application.

Ongoing training ensures firefighters stay sharp, confident, and ready to respond when needed most.
