We’re glad the Province has been the value of having GSAR Peer Supports as part of their CISM Plan, pictured are VSAR members C. Chase and M.Schroeder along with GSAR members from across the province and joined by VFD members

Congratulations to all the GSAR members who attended the CISM training in Truro these past two weekends. Nova Scotia Ground Search and Rescue will now be fortunate to have its own CISM team to help our members through difficult times. A big thank you to Wendy Rafuse and her members from the FSANS CISM team for helping GSAR with this project and making it happen. We are excited to work together.

Wow we would like to Thank all of the Ropers who Raged across the Valley and Raised $4,400.00 for our team!

We would also like to Thanks the Organizers for allowing our team to be the beneficiary of these events for the past two events!

We’re glad we just had to showcase our equipment and skills and not put them to use on the day of the event lol

Tonight members joined Greenwich Fire Department Swift Water Rescue team to train together and work out joint team response using VSAR Sked and Ferno Canada Litter Wheeled Mule
