What an incredible weekend celebrating Haisla Days! Mother Nature offered some grace with the weather, only offering rain after sports day ended. Congratulations to the Haisla Girls and Women on another championship year with tug-of-war!
It was so good to see many of our community members out to celebrate, cheer, laugh, and make memories together. It’s always nice to see the field full of smiling faces and to welcome home our members who travel to be part of the celebrations.
We also want to recognize and thank all of the amazing volunteers from our Haisla Nation staff who gave their time and energy to help make the celebrations so special. You are all amazing!
Finally, a special thank you to the Haisla Fire Department for lighting up the sky with a spectacular fireworks show to close out two unforgettable days.
Haisla Days is all about coming together, celebrating one another and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for your part in making this year’s memories.
