Paws what you’re doing and head over TOMORROW to another Movie in the Park! 🐾Our wonderful community partners at Barrhaven United Church and Sequoia Church Ottawa are hosting a Movie in the Park featuring Zootopia 2, and you’re going to have a roaring good time!

It’s completely free, and they’ve got un-bear-ably awesome free snacks lined up starting at 7:00 PM, with the film starting at dusk. Grab your lawn chairs, pack a cozy blanket, and bring everyone down for an evening under the stars!

Looking to practice your English skills in a friendly and supportive environment? Join our weekly English Conversation Group! Running every Thursday evening! This free drop-in program is open to all skill levels.

It is a wonderful way to build confidence, practice everyday speaking, and connect with new neighbours in our community.

Thank you to our many donors and partners to the 2026 Tools 4 School Campaign and for attending our appreciation event this morning. Because of your support we were able to collect 232 backpacks this summer to help local students in grade 10 through 12 start the school year with the supplies they need.

Thank You Councillor Devine for your annual support of our Tools 4 School Campaign it means so much for the community !

I’m always happy to support and donate to NROCRC’s annual Tools 4 School program, which supplies new backpacks and school supplies for students-in-need. This year my office donated 5 backpacks and 5 gift cards from Staples. Thanks NROCRC, and wishing a great school year to the recipients.
