September 30 is Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It is a time to honour and remember the children taken from their families and sent to residential schools, remember those who never returned home, and recognize the Survivors, families and communities who continue to live with the lasting impacts of this history and trauma. We remain committed to listening, learning, and taking meaningful steps on our collective reconciliation journey.
