Slocan Community Library

Slocan Community Library The Village of Slocan owns the library/fitness and wellness centre on Harold Street. We're independent and run totally by volunteers!

Donations and grants, as well as the annual $10 patrons' fee keep our collection current. We have nearly 1000 members. It's a large, bright former school room with a WiFi hub. At present, we are open on Saturdays (11-3), Sundays (11-3), Thursdays (1-5) and Fridays (7-9pm). During non-Covid times, Storytime (10:30 to 11:15 Wednesday mornings), the summer book club and Authors Readings have been very popular.
