Yellowhead Regional Library

Yellowhead Regional Library YRL is a library system that provides services to over 300,000 Albertans in 54 municipalities and nearly 11,000 FTE students in three school divisions.

To provide its member libraries with a broader spectrum of service, YRL partnered with three other regional library systems. This partnership, called TRAC (The Regional Automation Consortium), implemented library software that offers almost three million holdings and more than 800,000 titles to all member libraries. This centralized library software also allows for quicker circulation between memb

er libraries and gives patrons access to an online catalogue where they can search for material, place holds and manage their library account.

Drop in for a new series of chair and chair-assisted workouts, with new and easy to follow videos! All ages and abilities welcome.

Sitting Yoga: Wednesdays: 10:30-10:50am
Drop in for a relaxing session of yoga. Poses, stretching and breath work all from the safety and comfort of a sturdy chair. Enjoy this complete workout on its own or stay for the follow-up session of Accessible Chair Exercises at 11:00am.

Teen Hangout Hour
Fri, June 26 | 3:30 - 4:30pm

After school, the library becomes your space to chill, talk, and hang out with other teens. While anime and manga are always welcome (Naruto, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan), this hangout is open to all fandoms—games, books, movies, and more.

Whether you’re deep into fandoms, just getting started, or just here for the snacks and company, there’s a spot for you.
