It was an honour to present Paula Coutts, Director of the Tumbler Ridge Public Library, with the 2026 Award for Innovation & Impact from the Association of BC Public Library Directors.

Paula’s leadership, dedication and commitment to serving the people of Tumbler Ridge have made a meaningful difference in the community. Through difficult circumstances, she has helped ensure the library remains a welcoming place where residents can find support, information and connection.

Congratulations, Paula, on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you for everything you continue to do for Tumbler Ridge.
